METHOD FOR INDIVIDUAL PROPHYLAXIS OF CARIES WITH ENAMEL-SEALING LIQUID Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, stomatology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to prophylaxis of caries. Method involves the individual approach in choice of ratio of treatment of tooth solid tissues with enamel-sealing liquid. Method involves determination of average indices of acid penetration of teeth enamel in each patient by test for enamel resistance. In acid penetration value determined by test for 1-3 scores treatment of enamel with enamel-sealing liquid is carried out one time per a year; in value 4-5 scores 2 times per a year with interval for 6 months; in value 6-7 scores 3 times per a year with interval for 4 months and in value 8-10 scores 4 times per a year with interval for 3 months. Method provides the enhancement of prophylaxis of teeth caries by means of close control of regimen in using enamel- -sealing liquid and acid penetration of enamel.
