SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for prophylaxis of caries. Method involves every day mouth cavity gargling with natural mineral water with the fluoride content above 1.2 mg/ml during teeth cleansing and after cleansing for 1 min, not less, by course for 7-10 days. In partial case method involves using natural mineral water "Svetloyarskaya" with the fluoride content 1.7 mg/l for prophylaxis of caries in children living in regions with reduced fluoride content in drinking water. Method provides effective prophylaxis of caries excluding toxic effect of trace elements on body presenting in mineral water.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of prophylaxis.
