BAG FILTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning process gases and aspiration effluents from dust in bag filters at pulse regeneration; ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy; manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter is used for filtration of gases containing highly-dispersed dust. Bag filter has housing with bin, inlet and outlet branch pipes, bag board with filtering bags mounted in it; it divides filter into dirty and clean gas chambers; bags filter includes also regeneration unit. Filter is provided with built-in collector mounted over entire length of filter between inlet and outlet branch pipes in center of filter between dirty and clean gas chambers where diagonal partition is mounted in way of motion of gas; said partition divides collector into dirty and clean gas sections. Filter is provided with one or two vertical partitions mounted before dirty gas chambers forming prechambers together with vertical walls of collector. Vertical partitions are mounted in such way that their upper part forms port for passage of gas and their lower part forms slot, 40 to 60 mm in size. Cutoff valves of rectangular section mounted at clean gas outlet are provided with swivel gates and pneumatic drives. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; avoidance of gas dynamic flows. 4 dwg
