FIELD: cleaning gases from dust; ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy; manufacture of building materials; chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed cartridge filter has housing with filtering cartridges inside it; each filtering cartridge consists if filter medium and framework. Mounted in upper portion of filter is pulse regeneration unit provided with blow valves, pyramidal detachable caps at opening angle of 60-0 deg. and air divider mounted in upper portion of detachable caps located under blow valves. Filter is divided into sections in vertical plane. Filtering cartridges are so located that divide each section of filter in horizontal plane into clean and contaminated gas chambers; they consist of wedge-shaped wells of filter medium and wedge-shaped framework made from wire members. Filter housing is provided with rods rigidly secured on it at points of connection of wedge-shaped wells for free suspension of filtering cartridges. Upper edge of filter medium is made in form of loop over perimeter of filtering cartridge; each section of filter is provided with fixed shelf and hold-down plate between clean and contaminated gas chambers; loop of upper edge of filter medium is secured between said shelf and plate. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; possibility of regeneration of filter with no reduction in its throughput; enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
