FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, separator is installed between rings in friction damper. Said separator is mated with tail spindle and is made in form of bushing with projections. Sectors of retainer installed between tail spindle and sleeve are arranged between projections. Tail spindle is provided with outer thread from side of lower attachment unit. Longitudinal slot is made in thread for engagement with tab of lockwasher. Said lockwasher is placed between adjusting and locking nut. EFFECT: improved reliability, increased service life of damper, provision of stability of resistance parameters of damper. 2 cl, 4 dwg
