FIELD: animal science. SUBSTANCE: one should affect the mixture of milk and reagent with low-frequency field, and as tested parameter one should apply dielectric permeability of the above-mentioned mixture to be further compared against the standard. One should conclude upon mastitis degree by the difference in values of dielectric permeability in experimental and standard samples. Reservoirs are designed as dielectric cups and with cylindrical electrodes with internal spools of corresponding oscillatory circuits. Moreover, the latter are electrically combined and connected from one side with measuring device through a supply unit, and from another side - through high-frequency generators corresponding outputs of which are connected with voltage regulator.
