FIELD: medicine, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: as biological material one should apply human saliva; centrifuge tubes containing 4 ml 10%-trichloroacetic acid solution are supplemented with 1ml saliva and centrifuged, one should add 0.1 ml 57%-perchloric acid and 5 ml ether to 4 ml extract, ether is thrice removed, ether is added and shaken, then samples are supplemented with 2 g potassium carbonate and 5 ml butanol, after centrifuging process 4 ml organic phase is removed and passed through chromatographic column at 3 mm diameter and 10 mm height with ion-exchange resin inside it, one should elute 2 ml 0.2 H hydrochloric acid, then eluate is supplemented with 0.5 ml diazure-active, 1 ml sodium carbonate and 0.15 ml 5 H sodium hydroxide. Then due to colorimetric technique one should measure optic density and by calibrating curve detect histamine concentration. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics.
