SUBSTANCE: method involves determining 11-oxocorticosteroids concentration in saliva of a testee immediately before he starts working on computer and 30 min later after the work begins. The 11-oxocorticosteroids concentration in saliva of a testee being found higher and not greater than a physiological reference level, normal organism response to computer video display unit radiation is considered to be the case. Reduction in 11-oxocorticosteroids concentration in saliva being found, deviation from normal organism response to this kind of radiation is concluded to be the case. No concentration change being found, the measurement is repeated 60 min later after the beginning of work. The 11-oxocorticosteroids concentration in saliva of a testee being found higher and not greater than a physiological reference level, normal organism response to computer video display unit radiation is considered to be the case. Reduction in 11-oxocorticosteroids concentration in saliva being found, deviation from normal organism response to computer video display unit radiation is concluded to be the case.
