FIELD: laboratory course in physics and electrical engineering, study and extension of knowledge of physical laws and phenomena. SUBSTANCE: practice device incorporates two toroids positioned in opposition and in parallel one another. Leads of windings of toroids are connected to output terminals of sound frequency generator. Both toroids are placed on support that carries scale with divisions. Mobile platform moves over support between toroids, along scale with divisions. Measurement coil is installed on mobile platform at level of axis of toroids and equidistantly from them so that its axis matches direction of intensity vector of magnetic field formed by electric field of toroids. Position indicator of measurement coil is located on mobile platform and matches axis of measurement coil. Input terminals of emf recorder are connected to leads of measurement coil. Drive with belt transmission is anchored on support and moves mobile platform between above-mentioned toroids, along scale with divisions to register distance from axis of toroids to measurement coil with position indicator. This device makes it possible to eliminate dependence of displacement current on frequency and intensity of electric field. EFFECT: widened field of studies and enhanced measurement accuracy. 4 dwg
