FIELD: protective lacquer compositions. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective lacquer compositions and method for preparing coatings. Composition comprises lacquer K4-0125, 25% aqueous ammonia, butanol, mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water in the ratio 1:1, pH of composition is 6.7-7.0. Method for preparing coating involves preparing surface by chemical defatting, etching, passivation, simple immersion of article into lacquer composition for 3-5 min and the following drying . Invention provides making protective lacquer composition for copper and copper alloys showing high adhesion to surface and uniform lacquer film by thickness over the all surface. Invention can be used for anticorrosion protection of articles made of copper and copper alloys exploited under different climatic conditions, in devices of radio engineering industry and other branches of industry.
