FIELD: mechanical engineering; positive displacement machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary machine has hollow cylindrical housing with face covers accommodating two coaxial blades dividing housing space into four closed spaces. Blade coupling mechanism consists of two pairs of disks with two elliptical gears placed in between. Disks are fastened by shaped studs and are installed for movement, one on cylindrical projection of end face cover, and the other, together with shaft and non-through hole, in hollow cylindrical cover, being axially arranged at two sides of end face covers. Elliptical gears are installed for movement in each pair of disks on shaped studs in diametrically opposite directions. said gears come into meshing with other pair of elliptical gears rigidly mounted on hollow shafts of other coaxial blade get into non-through holes of disks and are rigidly secured in holes. Rotation of pair disks with elliptical gears rigidly secured with coaxial shafts provides strictly vertical position at relative approach of blades in process of rotation.
