FIELD: mechanical engineering; fans and ventilators. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in branched ventilation systems and pneumatic transportation installations of loose grainy materials. Proposed cross- flow fan contains scroll housing with inlet port, outlet branch pipe separated from housing by adjacent wall and impeller with curvilinear forward-curved blades. Scroll housing and outlet branch pipe are divided by cross partitions and impeller is divided by blind disks into number of sections. Cross partitions are arranged opposite to corresponding blind disks. Number or parameters of blades of impeller in sections or parameters of blades of impeller and number of blades are different. EFFECT: increased efficiency and capacity of fan in operation. 1 dwg
