FIELD: mechanical engineering; fans. SUBSTANCE: proposed cross- flow fan has scroll housing with inlet port, separated from outlet branch pipe by adjacent wall, and impeller with curvilinear forward-curved blades. Scroll housing and outlet branch pipe are divided by cross partitions and impeller is divided by blind disks into sections whose minimum number is two. Cross partitions are located opposite to corresponding blind disks. Width of cross-flow fan and diameter of impeller defining the size of cross-flow fan in cross plane and number and width of its sections depend on number of parallel sections of circuit connected to cross-flow fan and required amount of air passing through them in unit time. EFFECT: provision of high pressure and stable operation at low and medium air deliveries. 1 dwg
