Abstract RU 2211414 C1

FIELD: combined heating and cooling systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed vortex tube includes energy separation chamber, incoming flow swirler, cooled flow discharge diaphragm and cock fitted at heated flow inlet. Energy separation chamber is provided with aligning unit which is self-adjusting to structure of vortex flow. Aligning unit may be made in form of cylinder not mechanically linked with energy separation chamber. Diameter of said cylinder exceeds diameter of cooled flow discharge diaphragm but is no more than 0.8D, where D is inner diameter of chamber. Length of cylinder ranges from 0.3L to 0.8L, where L is length of chamber. Average density of cylinder ranges from 0.05 to 2 g/cu cm. Aligning unit may be also made in form of flexible rod secured on side of cock for rotation around axis of energy separation chamber. Diameter of said rod ranges from 0.1D to 0.5D, where D is inner diameter of chamber and its length ranges from 0.3L to 0.7L, where L is length of chamber. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
