METHOD OF CONCENTRATION OF GOLD-CONTAINING ORE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in mineral processing for concentration of gold-containing ore. SUBSTANCE: method includes ore crushing, screening of crushed ore, classification of undersize product in hydrocyclones with obtaining sands and overflow. Prior to classification undersize product in hydrocyclones is finely crushed to size of minus 1 mm. Material sizing plus 0.8 mm is separated before centrifugal concentration from hydrocyclones. Prior to thinning of overflow, preliminarily separated from it in hydrocyclones are sands which are subjected to additional centrifugal concentration. Directed for grinding are tailings of sands centrifugal concentration and tailings of additional centrifugal concentration, with separation from them by additional classification in hydrocyclones of overflow directed for thinning together with overflow of preliminary separation in hydrocyclones. In so doing, grinding is carried out together with material sizing plus 0.8 mm, and ground product is returned for classification of undersize product in hydrocyclones. EFFECT: increased gold withdrawal to concentrate. 1 dwg
