FIELD: engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to solid-propellant end face tire engine consisting of anode, cathode and propellant grain in between. Grain is made of material featuring high dielectric permeability, for instance, barium titanate. Anode and cathode are installed at one side of grain, and conductor is connected to other side. Grain can be made in form of disk with cathode and anode installed coaxially or diametrically opposite. Invention makes it possible to create pulse electric jet engine of simple design featuring high specific parameters. EFFECT: simple design, high parameters. 5 cl, 2 dwg
