FIELD: gas-turbine engines and power plants. SUBSTANCE: air flow is divided in two flows for forming fuel-and-air mixture; one flow is directed to primary combustion chamber and other flow is directed to prechamber for forming fuel-and-air mixture which is ignited and burnt in prechamber. Device proposed for realization of this method includes main combustion chamber with flame tube, secondary air supply unit, swirler and combustion products discharge passage; it also has primary combustion chamber with flame tube, fuel and primary air supply units, swirler and igniting unit; primary combustion chamber is mounted before main combustion chamber coaxially with it; flame tubes of combustion chambers are connected; igniting unit is made in form of prechamber with fuel injector, electric spark-plug and nozzle; fuel supply unit and swirler made in form of twisting nozzle apparatus of primary combustion chamber are located on its front end in section perpendicular to central axis; primary air supply unit made in form of nozzle and prechamber nozzle are located in twisting nozzle apparatus.
