FIELD: identification and control over access to guarded objects. SUBSTANCE: procedure is related to testing of optical seals and consists in illumination of information element of seal through transparent sections of seal by optical radiation, in registration of image of information element of seal in the form of distribution of illuminance on surface of photodetector, in formation of reference optical image of information element of seal and in comparison of it with control optical image of information element of seal obtained in process of test. Additional image of light field corresponding to present state of optical channel is formed both in process of formation of reference optical image and in process of formation of control optical image. Reference and control images of information element of seal are presented in the form of collection of intercoupled parameters of image of information element of seal and image of light field corresponding to it.
