FIELD: security equipment, in particular, manufacturing of visual seals and labels. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing of testing member by means of application of transparent material on tested surface of guarded article, detecting and storing optical image of testing member in source condition and its comparison to optical image of testing member in current condition. Arbitrary pattern of applied glue layer is used as optical image. EFFECT: decreased probability of faking of optical image, decreased subjective evaluation, simplified sealing, increased reliability of detection of attempt made for unauthorized access to guarded article, simplified checking of attempts by service personnel. 8 cl
