FIELD: detection of unauthorized access to guarded objects. SUBSTANCE: information-bearing element is attached to loose end of fastening so that the latter cannot be easily removed. Information-bearing element is made of material transparent to optical probing radiation. Then image of element body inner structure is recorded by means of automatic optical device, parameters of this structure being destroyed as soon as attempt is made to remove information-bearing element or fastening. Mentioned image is used as unique optical image of information-bearing element. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of detecting unauthorized access to fastening. 2 cl, 2 dwg
