FIELD: recovery of liquid radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: method includes super-stoichiometric sorption of radionuclides using zirconium dioxide and titanium dioxide base crystal sorbents for evaporating solution to dryness. Then compound is calcined and transferred to matrices. Mineral matrices used for the purpose possess high chemical, thermal, and reactive stability and can be used not only for burying long-living radionuclides but also for producing fuel for their transmutation.
