FIELD: energy engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of immobilization of radionuclides from liquid radioactive wastes consists in the fact that in the liquid radioactive wastes the sorbent is added, which is used as a layered titanate hydrazine and/or synthetic titanosilicate ivanyukite, stirred, settled to form a stable precipitate and clear solution, filtered or decanted, gamma and/or beta-activity of the resulting solution is controlled, the thermal treatment of the precipitate saturated with radionuclides is carried out, to obtain a ceramic matrix. The sorbents are used in the following proportion: from 40 to 100 g titanate per 1 litre wastes, from 10 to 20 g titanosilicate per 1 litre wastes.
EFFECT: invention provides effective immobilization of radionuclides, enables to carry out complex cleaning of liquid radioactive wastes and further long-term disposal of cleaning products.
