BLOWOUT PREVENTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: equipment applicable in servicing of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: blowout preventer is made for installation of easily removable hydraulic drive on it. Preventer has body with axial channel and rams with sealing members. Rams are provided with rods with screw external surfaces having opposite directions of winding. Rods have common screw surfaces with driven sprockets for provision of opposing motion of rams. Driven sprockets are kinematically connected with help of chains with driving sprockets. Driving sprockets are rigidly mounted on common drive shaft having handwheel for manual driving of rams. Easily removable hydraulic drive is made for installation on common drive shaft on opposite side of handwheel. It has rotary hydraulic motor, reducing gear and coupling device. Driving sprocket has design companion member for engagement with coupling device. With removed easily removable hydraulic drive, place of its installation is closed by sealing cover. EFFECT: provided blowout preventer with combined control of its rams. 2 dwg
