FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: windrow-type header has windrow- forming plated conveyor with drive sprocket, and lever with carrier wheel. Sprocket is fixed on carrier wheel spindle. Lever is connected to hydraulic cylinder. Carrier wheel sprocket is coupled by chain transmission through freewheel clutch to conveyor drive sprocket. During operation of conveyor in unloading mode, hydraulic cylinder moves lever with carrier wheel until wheel comes into contact with field ground surface. Upon contacting of wheel with ground, rotational motion is transmitted from wheel sprocket through chain transmission to conveyor drive sprocket through freewheel clutch. Upon termination of unloading operation, hydraulic cylinder raises lever with carrier wheel from ground for disengaging carrier wheel from ground and stopping conveyor. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing speed of conveyor to be proportional to header speed in unloading mode of operation of windrow-type header. 1 dwg
