FIELD: concentration of minerals; preparation for gravitational concentration of auriferous sands. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of clay sands with mechanical admixtures to scrubber, disintegration, gravitational concentration and separation of mechanical admixtures. Used as mechanical admixtures are iron particulars of irregular form, 1 to 10 cm in size which are pressed into clay sand before delivery to scrubber. Pure iron particles with nondisintegrated clay pellets are entrapped by means of magnetic separation and are directed for pressing in sand. Non-disintegrated clay pellets are fed repeatedly for washing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of disintegration of clay sands; reduced losses of useful components. 2 cl, 1 tbl
