FIELD: apparatus for magnetic separation of loose products; manufacture of magnets; powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic separator includes flat separating member, magnetic system mounted on drive shaft, flat non-magnetic shield and unloading unit with receivers for separation products. Magnetic separator ensures contact of working zone of separating member with magnetic system. Magnetic system consists of separate sectors; each sector is articulated to drive shaft. Separating member is mounted at angle to magnetic system and magnets on sectors are mounted in radial direction with like poles towards each other.
