FIELD: magnetic traps, possibly extraction of ferromagnetic impurities out of flow of loose materials in chemical and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: magnetic trap includes housing with magnetic system made of magnetic assemblies arranged with gap one relative to other and having enclosed in jackets permanent magnets. Magnetic trap is provided with cone splitter. Magnetic system is in the form of basket arranged coaxially relative to said splitter. Magnetic assembly is in the form of plate; permanent magnets are arranged in jacket in such a way that their similar poles are faced one to other. Housing is in the form of ring; side portion of basket is formed by means of vertical plates secured to upper cut portion of housing by their lower ends and arranged tangentially relative to vertical axis of said basket. Bottom part of basket is formed by means of plates secured to lower cut portion of housing and mounted by inclination angle relative to horizontal plane.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of extracting magnetic impurities out of flow of loose non-magnetic materials.
