LOOSE MATERIAL FEEDER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: pneumatic transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feeders for pneumohydraulic transport systems, for instance, hydraulic ash removing systems. Proposed feeder contains round cylindrical housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes and working member arranged vertically inside housing. Said working member is provided, in its lower part, with rigid vertical plate whose ends are connected to walls of feeder housing. Limiter is installed with possibility of radial regulated displacement in feeder housing opposite to upper half of working member from side opposite to vertical plate. Working member is made of elastic material with contour providing of its top with feeder housing in position inclined in direction opposite to limiter and filling with material, in said position of working member, of part of housing located over the member. Working member in inclined position forms curvilinear surface. Angle of tilting of tangent line to said surface in point of contact of its top to feeder housing exceeds angle of repose of loose material. Feeder can contain several working members installed in staggered order. EFFECT: improved reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
