FIELD: dust catching technique.

SUBSTANCE: cyclone has casing, peripheral gas flow inlet made in the form of inlet branch pipe, helical cover, hopper and outlet branch pipe for discharge of purified gas, filtering member mounted on base single for cyclone casing. Hopper fixed within base has plate located in upper part and provided with conical opening. Cutoff washer is axially positioned above conical opening in spaced relation therewith. Filtering member is made in the form of filter-cartridge formed as cylindrical wire or core type carcass with upper blind flange and lower opened flange. Filtering material is fixed on upper flange of filter-cartridge by means of straps arranged in plane perpendicular to axis of carcass. Regeneration system is positioned on upper flange of filter-cartridge. Hoppers are made conical or pyramid-shaped, with angle of inclination of walls exceeding angle of repose of caught dust.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in dust catching process of cyclone.
