FIELD: mining; applicable in mining of mineral deposits by blasting method for breakage of interchamber pillars, ore deposit pillars under fall, and also-block caving under conditions of high rock pressure. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of holes in pillar with hole charging with explosive charges, driving of raises for location of chamber explosive charges, alternating blasting of explosive charges with formation of system of lying opposite relieving cavities on two opposite surfaces of pillar exposure and final breakage of pillar by blasting of chamber explosive charges. Several systems of receiving cavities are formed at different levels over pillar height. Relieving cavities of level system in plan are formed opposite to relieving cavities of system of adjacent level, and alternate relieving cavities in each system of level are formed by staggering. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for breakage. 3 dwg
