FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling around block between environment and compensating chamber of parallel rows of ascending and descending wells directed towards each other, with non-drilled space left in central portion of block in vertical plane, loading of said wells with explosive charges and row-wise detonation. The new in the method is that ascending and descending wells are drilled with non-drilled space Wt matching dimensions of bottom portions of explosive charges in descending wells, and ascending wells in each following row from first rows on the side of environment and compensating chamber are drilled at length lessened for value l, determined on basis of formula: 1=Wp·tg(α-90°), where l is value by which length of ascending wells is lessened in meters; Wp is dimension of charges of explosives row in meters; α is angle of explosion crater mouth in vertical plane in degrees; while explosive charges in ascending wells in each row are detonated prior to explosive charges in adjacent descending rows of wells, and descending wells are loaded with combined explosive charges with placement in bottom portions of wells for explosive charges having directed effect.
EFFECT: lower costs of explosive and drilling operations, lower seismic and dynamic effect on mines at block bottom due to rational use of energy of explosion of end portions of explosive charges in descending and ascending wells and to step by step cutting along block height.
