FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed wind power generating plant contains stator and rotor parts. Stator part, according to invention, is made in form of ring guide vane assembly with vertically installed profile vanes forming intervane channels uniformly spaced over circumference, and rotor part is made in form of wheel of cross-flow hydraulic turbine. Invention makes it possible to develop compact plants for power generating within wide range of velocities of wind flows. EFFECT: enlarger operating capabilities. 4 dwg
