FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impellers of well pumps used for lifting drinking water. Well pump impeller consists of front and driving disks made of plastics. Surface of seal liable to wear is made in form of ring stamped from stainless steel imbedded into front disk plastics and it operates in pair with rubber bushing of diaphragm. Axial relief of impeller is provided by radial blades on back of driving disk. EFFECT: improved wear resistance and increased service life of plastic impellers. 2 cl, 1 dwg _
