FIELD: automation and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: photoelectric angle converter designed for analog-to- digital conversion of angular position of shaft into digital code to obtain digital information from controlled entities and for inputting it in digital control and computing machines has case with bore accommodating guide cylinder, coded shaft mounted in ball bearings, measuring and indicating disks with calibrated scale, emitters and photodetectors, holders for emitters, photodetectors, and indicating disk with base holes joined with guide cylinder. Additional bore diametrically opposing guide cylinder is made in case and additional guide cylinder is mounted; scale zero indicator in the form of hole is disposed along its axis on line interconnecting axes of both cylinders; holders and disks bear at least two cross-like equal-size alignment marks equally spaced apart in angular and radial directions; base bores are joined with cylinder and marks.
