FIELD: automation and computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed photoelectric angle converter that can be used for analog-to-digital conversion of shaft angular position to digital code in order to obtain digital information from controlled entities and to enter it in digital control and computing machines is installed on user's object and has case, guide cylinders disposed in diametrically opposite holes of case, shaft being encoded, indicating and metering disks with calibrated scale, radiators, and photodetectors forming optical information channels, as well as scale zero indicator in the form of hole in one of guide cylinders. Novelty is that installed in converter coaxially with shaft being encoded is coupling with flexible compensating member such as corrugated compensating member that has through hole coaxial with scale zero indicator, diameter of hole being greater than that of guide cylinder hole; coupling is joined with case on one end and with fixed part of object, on other end.
EFFECT: enhanced and enlarged functional capabilities due to facilitated jointing; enhanced precision and checkup of converter coupling with user's object.
