FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a sit mounted on telescopic upright having supporting member, back having curved supporting member attached to the sit and arm rests. The device is additionally provided with torsion unit and frame for fixing feet and legs. The back is convex and has adjustable headrest. The curved supporting member is deformable to match vertebral column curvature and is joined with the telescopic upright by means of torsion unit to which cantilever is attached. The arm rests are short and fixed on armchair back. The frame for fixing feet and legs is rigidly attached to axle mounted behind the armchair back and allows rotation about the axle towards the sit. The sit is connected to the telescopic upright by means of flat hinge having stopping member. It is inclinable forwards to an angle of 15 deg. EFFECT: enabled comfortable conditions for having short term rest at working table without interrupting the main work; periodical internal massage of the vertebral column due to sit swinging and twisting movements. 3 cl, 4 dwg
