SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of furniture making for sitting with preventive and health-improving properties. The health-improving armchair comprises device with variable configuration of support surfaces, with the possibility of their reciprocal motion and accessories for anatomical features of a sitting person, including replaceable inserts for therapeutic effect. The functional support surfaces are bilaterally divided relative to the armchair bisymmetry saggital plane into individual but interconnected mobile parts immediately formed by torsion, pressure and extension string units and sets of multifunctional detachable interchangeable surfaces so that to enable establishment of additional controllable mobile connections to the armchair base.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring biomechanically bisymmetric self-correction, orthopaedic, thermal regulation, massage and training effects well as attenuation of vibration and impact actions.
