FIELD: toys production. SUBSTANCE: means for transportation in medium has floating base, movable members and mechanism for moving said movable members relative to base. Said mechanism includes pole rigidly mounted on base and plank mounted on pole for rotation by means of spindle and adapted for carrying small electric engine. Means for transportation is further provided with contact system adapted for supplying power to electric engines and having contacts for each electric engine. Said contacts are arranged so as to alternatively supply power to each of electric engines on arc of circle below 180 deg. According to first version, both electric engines have friction rollers coming into contact with plate rigidly fixed in horizontal position on base. Pole is fixed centrally of plate. Large electric engine is pivotally attached on plank at side opposite to small electric engine. Roller of small electric engine is forced to come into contact with plate, while roller of large electric engine comes into contact with plate by gravity of said large electric engine. According to second version, small electric engine is equipped with small gear engageable with large gear, which is arranged in horizontal position and rigidly connected with floating base. Large electric engine has friction roller coming into contact with gear. Means for transportation in medium may be used for investigating non-standard movement under buoyancy conditions.
