MEANS FOR MOVING IN A MEDIUM Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2239482 C1

FIELD: educational engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has floating base, movable members mounted on the base and mechanism for moving the members relative to the base having rigidly mounted upright, strip mounted on the upright and set in rotation by means of axle. The strip carries an engine having friction roller engageable with plate horizontally and rigidly fixed on the base and contact system for feeding electric engine. The upright is fixed with some deviation from the plate center. The strip has ball-shaped counterweight on the side opposite to the electric engine. The ball is fixed with a frame on the strip. The roller makes forced engagement with the plate at a distance from electric engine axle being greater than the distance from the axle to the ball. The contact system is arranged in the plate center and has interrupters.

EFFECT: wide range of applications in studying nontraditional movement when floating.
