FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: the balancer of the crank press slide block has a cylinder sleeve, bottom, cover fastened to the upper part of the press bed by studs and nuts, piston positioned in the cylinder sleeve and connected to the press slide block by means of a rod, and breathers. The balancer is provided with damping members made in the form of at least one power unit located in the cover through hole. The power unit is made in the form of a cylindrical body with the upper threaded section, stepped recess and a clamp. The damping members are fastened to the cover by means of a clamp, distance ring and a nut screwed on the upper threaded section of the body. The sleeve is fixed in the stepped recess of the body. The sleeve has an axial stepped recess, positioned in whose upper section is the smaller hole in the form of a die. In the larger hole of the sleeve recesses installed are a cylindrical bar of plastic metal material and a plunger fixed in the body by a sheared pin. One end of the plunger is engageable with the cylindrical bar. The other end projects from the body by the design quantity and may be engaged with the upper end of the piston.
