FIELD: mechanical- working presses for metals. SUBSTANCE: novelty in press is that shaft journals are mounted in pad webs by means of studs whose threaded ends are driven into mentioned webs. Thrust plates are secured on opposite threaded ends of studs by means of adjusting nuts. Cylindrical shafts are installed in center of these plates for displacement in them along vertical axes of journals and are provided with shoulders. Stack of disk springs is inserted between these shoulders and upper surface of plates. Opposite ends of shafts are fitted in web holes and their ends carry slide blocks for permanent contact between ends of the latter and cylindrical surfaces of journals.
