FIELD: printing industry; transportation system. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation system containing first guide rail 6 and great number of holders 8 for transportable articles, particularly, printed matter. Each holder 8 has guide part 5 made for independent movement along guide rail 6 and second guide rail 7 with drive device 2 moving along said rail. Drive device 2 is made for provision of detachable joint with connecting part of guide part 5 in such a manner that guide part 5, in connected position, can be at least partially conveyed by drive device 2 installed between drive device and connecting part to carry load of joint. Guide part 5 is made in form of sliders, particularly, to form V-shaped three- point support. First guide rail 6 is provided with sliding surface for sliding of sliders 5. Thanks to it speed of transportation is increased, system is made more flexible and tightness of arrangement of articles at transportation is increased.
