FIELD: transportation. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of transportation of large number of similar type articles in transportation system each article is held separately by one grip. Grip is mated with feed members moving along transportation line or with corresponding guides passing along transportation line. For re-loading articles from one transportation line to the other, grips are disconnected from feed members or guides of one transportation line and are mated with feed members or guides of other transportation line. Device has system of salient transportation lines and means of holding the articles which are moved along transportation lines. These means include grips. Proposed transportation system includes feed members moved along transportation lines or guides passing along transportation line. Transportation line system includes also re-loading zones in which at least two transportation lines are installed parallel to each other with grips mated with feed members or guides. Special devices for disconnecting grips from feed members or guides of first transportation line and mating them with feed members or guides of second transportation line are provided in zones of re-loading. Thanks to it articles of any shape can be transported, and system can be easily adjusted for delivering articles to different zones.
