FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at preparing flotation sodium chloride with specific foxy color and useful physicochemical properties. Consequently, flotation sodium chloride is colored with suspension comprising ferrous pigment and soda ash, to which water is added in order to provide uniform distribution of pigment on salt crystal surface. Thus treated product is dried and then treated with anti-conglomeration solution and dust suppressor in the same amounts as used for uncolored product.
