METHOD OF MASSIVE OIL POOL DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2213853 C2

FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, methods of development of massive oil pool characterized by complicated hydrodynamic communication with underlying water-saturated rocks and developed with injection of displacement agents for maintaining the formation pressure. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of displacement agent, periodic determination of chemical composition of water produced together with oil, periodic measurements of formation pressure in producing, injection and monitor wells. Injected to under water-oil contact are liquid solvents in form of fresh or slightly mineralized water, and/or inorganic, and/or organic mutually soluble solvents or their mixtures. Composition of solvent )solvents) is determined by data on chemical composition of formation water, chemical composition of minerals of producing formation and deposits filling filtration channels in lower intervals of pool adjacent to plane of water-oil contact. Depth of injection interval of solvents and also displacement agents to under water-oil contact is determined by data of interval injectivity determined in course of injection well drilling below water-oil contact and in exposure of rocks possessing preset injectivity at given depth. Further depending of well is discontinued. Selected interval is isolated from overlying part of section. If need be, solvents are injected periodically and ceased injecting after reduction and stabilization of pressure differential within interval from injection depth to depth of plane of water-oil contact. EFFECT: increased efficiency of development of massive oil pool withdrawal of fluid from which not compensated with formation water. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl
