FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gas-and-oil producing industry and can be applied in developing bottom oil rims and oil-and-gas pools, including those with viscous oil and with active basement waters. The method consists in well drilling in an oil-and-gas field, mixing gas and water in the volume ratio 1:9 to 6:4 to prepare a water-and-gas mixture with the density equal or smaller than that of oil in the in-place conditions, pumping the prepared water-and-gas mixture into the oil and gas contact region through the wells and the following oil withdrawal from the producing wells. The water-and-gas mixture is pumped in an oil rim located immediately below the gas cap with a small thickness that ensures to eliminate a detrimental effect of gravity force and allowing using durability of the oil-and-gas barrier to align a travel front of said mixture.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of oil extraction while pumping the water-and-gas mixture in a layer due to more uniform and complete oil displacement from the oil rim of the bottom oil-and-gas fields, including those with viscous oil and active basement waters.
