FIELD: mechanical testing of members in the for of beams and plates. SUBSTANCE: procedure establishing maximum sagging of structures in the form of spring beams and girder plates under lateral flexure by uniformly distributed load consist in installation of tested structure in bench, in fixing of its ends in compliance with specified boundary conditions, in testing of structure in unloaded state by dynamic method under mode of resonance oscillations and measurement of resonance frequency of oscillations, in manufacture of reference structure without adherence to conditions of geometric similarity to tested structure, in test of reference structure by static and dynamic methods under mode of resonance oscillations, in measurement of maximum sagging and resonance frequency of oscillations of reference structure and in analytical determination of maximum sagging of tested structure with due account of experimental data obtained during tests of tested and reference structures. Boundary conditions of reference structure are implemented in any combination of conditions of hinge support and rigid restraint of ends independent of type of boundary conditions of tested structure. Masses of one linear unit of tested and reference structures are measured and maximum sagging of tested structure is calculated with allowance for ratio of these masses and relation of uniformly distributed loads acting on structures. EFFECT: possibility of test of structures which members show limited information on their mechanical parameters. 1 cl
