FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves calculating slice position depth. Mark is made with knife having blade shaped as isosceles triangle which base is multiple of blade length. The slice position depth is calculated from formula h=H-k*x, where h is the slice position depth; H is the anatomical object mark depth; k is the ratio of anatomical object mark depth to its base; x is the mark length. The histotopographic slice position depth is identified by slice mark length in the anatomical object. EFFECT: high accuracy of the method. 1 dwg
