FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining patient hemodynamics parameters correlating with cardiogenic shock severity when admitted to hospital and 24 h after starting anti-shock therapy. Systolic, diastolic, mean, pulse arterial blood pressure, diuresis state, final systolic, stroke and minute volume are recorded. Ejection fraction and cardiac index are calculated. Cardiac insufficiency is determined. The obtained data are processed by applying Discriminant analysis method. Course and outcome of cardiogenic shock are predicted from discriminator values.
