FIELD: medicine, cardiology and therapy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict acute left ventricular failure in patients with acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation of the anteri or wall of the left ventricle (STEMI). The level of stimulating growth factor expressed by gene 2 in the blood during hospitalization on the first day is determined: STEMI (X1), the size of the left atrium according to echocardiography (X2), the ejection fraction of the left ventricle according to echocardiography (X3), the number of points on the GRACE scale (X4), CKD-EPI glomerular filtration rate (X5), and patient age (X6). The probability of developing acute left ventricular failure is calculated using the formula P=1/(1+e-z)× 100%, where z = -40.529 +0.001X1+0.403X2-0.050X3+0.204X4+0.017X5-0.223X6. At R≥0.469 a high risk of developing acute left ventricular failure is predicted. At P<0.469, a low risk is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides reliable prediction of acute left ventricular failure in patients with acute STEMI at the inpatient stage of treatment through the use of a prognostic algorithm based on predictors of acute left ventricular failure.
